The Past in 3-D: Historical Maps with Dewey Livingston, Mapping Today with Richard Vallejos

Date:
Thursday, March 24, 2016 - 7:00pm
Event Description:

Maps provide one of the best views into the past, offering fascinating documentation of places at various times in our history. Historian and mapmaker Dewey Livingston shows some of his 3-D relief maps that depict Tomales Bay and parts of east Marin more than a century ago. Dewey will be joined by Richard Vallejos of Inverness, who will discuss new mapping techniques using digital technology.
