Artist Patsy Krebs will discuss Painting, a survey of her work from the early Sixties in New York to the present day in Northern California, with Jennifer Gately and Elia Haworth of the Bolinas Museum.

About Patsy Krebs:

A native of northern California, Patsy Krebs spent her formative years as an artist in New York.  She earned an MFA from Claremont Graduate School and began her exhibiting and teaching career in Los Angeles. In 1985 she moved to Inverness.  She has taught at SF State University, the SF Art Institute and Dominican University. Krebs's studio is at her home in Inverness where she also leads a private seminar on the process of art-making. She spends summers at an off-grid and secluded cabin high in the Sangre de Christo Mountains of southern Colorado.
 
Krebs's paintings have been exhibited broadly in the US and are in the collections of the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the Berkeley Museum, the Brooklyn Museum, the Santa Barbara Museum of Art and many other public and private collections.  She is the recipient of the Pollack/Krasner Foundation, National Endowment for the Arts, Adolph and Esther Gottlieb Foundation, the Marin Arts Council.
 
A retrospective exhibition of the paintings of Patsy Krebs is scheduled for summer of 2018 at the Bolinas Museum.
