Proceeds benefit the Inverness Almanac and PRNSA’s Art in the Park program. Tickets are limited and should be purchased in advance at invernessalmanac.com/events. Please come prepared for this outdoor event with warm clothing and a flashlight.

About Robert Hass: Robert Hass is a poet, essayist, and translator. His books include Time and Materials (National Book Award in poetry and the Pulitzer Prize), and The Apple Trees at Olema. Essay collections include What Light Can Do: Essays on Art, Imagination, and the Natural World. Twice a winner of National Book Critics Circle Award, he served as US Poet Laureate from 1995–1997. An active environmentalist, he serves  on the board of directors of International Rivers and River of Words. He is married to the poet Brenda Hillman. With her he divides his time between the Point Reyes peninsula and Berkeley where he is professor of English at the University of California.

About David Case Bailey: David Bailey graduated from Principia College with a degree in Creative Writing and Philosophy. He spent three years living abroad, mostly in India and Nepal, where he discovered a rich corollary between the expression of poetry and the exploration of who and what we are. After traveling he found a home in Inverness, California, where he lived for several years. He currently resides in St. Louis, Missouri with his partner Amelia and their daughter Rowan. At this time, David feels there has never been a greater need for what poetry can offer, in its power to remind us of our shared experience and to invite us to feel the earth beneath our feet as home.

About The Inverness Almanac: The Inverness Almanac is a semi-annual print publication that is an outlet for creative expression. It’s a reflection of this confluence of place, time and community, and an expression of yearning for connection and for deep knowing of the interdependence of everything.
