Ranches & Rolling Hills Landscape Art Show & Sale

Date:
Saturday, May 16, 2015 - 2:00pm to Sunday, May 17, 2015 - 4:00pm
Event Description:

Join MALT for the 18th annual Ranches & Rolling Hills Landscape Art Show and Sale benefiting farmland preservation. Since its inception, the weekend-long celebration of art depicting the West Marin countryside has raised more than $1 million to protect working farms and ranches.

Each year, acclaimed artists from Marin County and Santa Barbara's Oak Group fan out across MALT-protected lands to capture on canvas many of the farms, ranches, livestock, hills, and waterways that compose West Marin’s pastoral landscape. The area remains much the same as it did when farmers and ranchers settled it 150 years ago, due in large part to MALT's work.

PUBLIC SHOW & SALE SATURDAY AND SUNDAY

The show is free and open to the public Saturday after the Preview Lunch and all day Sunday.

PREVIEW LUNCH SATURDAY

A special preview farm-to-table lunch will feature food grown on MALT farms and gives you first opportunity to view and purchase art. $150. Tickets: www.malt.org/art-show-lunch-registration
