“Shuijiao” Dumpling Class
Dumplings are a traditional part of the Chinese New Year banquet, they are made in big groups and their packet shape symbolizes good fortune. Come learn to make two kinds of dumplings – vegetarian and pork – and enjoy a fresh dumpling meal in honor of the Chinese New Year. The class will include dough and filling demonstration by chef Lin Song, wrapping demo and hands on wrapping practice (“bao jiaozi”), dumpling boiling demonstration, and dumpling eating! The class and lunch are free but space is limited to 30 participants, so please reserve your spot by emailing jlivingston@marincounty.org.
