From Vickisa:

Please come join the procession to see this show. As a music devotee and person that cannot play a lick - I have been watching, listening, and drawing musicians at many venues live. I make limited edition, artists, fold out books that I am obsessed with and am sharing some these experiences in my books. They are about New Orleans, Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival and lots more. “I have a secret,” “so that I can stand right where I need to be. I give people last year’s books to look at, and that keeps them busy long enough for me to complete my sketches while having a movable show. I work on site and then in studio where I add words and photos in a long collage on 1 side and drawings on the other.

My paintings are about my life and thoughts Pure, Natural, and Unfiltered pretty much. In “Precious Things,” after looking at a Tiffany-turquoise blue box I imagined what should really be in it: children wading in deep blue clear reflecting pools, an art studio, whales offshore, my dog overlooking the birds in the rosebushes and all inspired by where I live in West Marin. The 4 paintings of Processions through the Elements are about the precious nature of Earth, Air, Fire, Water. Here the Elements are painted with a procession related to and concerned about each element.

I have always wanted to show my art at the Throckmorton Theatre as so much is based on music and I thought it would be very compatible.
