West Marin's Day of the Dead Art workshops at Ernesto's Studio

Day Of The Dead Art Workshops
Free Day of the Dead art workshops will be offered at Ernesto's Studio in downtown Pt Reyes the first 3 Saturday mornings in October. Held from 9:30 to 12 on Saturday, Oct 5th, 12th, and 19th. Leading the workshops will be Elvira Xaxni and Ernesto Sanchez. No experience necessary, all ages welcome. We will be making paper flowers, discussion on how to make a personal altar, skeleton painting and repair, paper mâché new art work, and other fun tasks in preparation for this years West Marin Day of the Dead. If interested please come. For further information contact Ernesto at 415-852-2572. Day of the Dead will be on Saturday, Oct 26th in downtown Pt Reyes. Mid Oct here will be a community altar installed in Toby's where you are encouraged to bring photos and mementos of loved ones past to place on the altar. This much loved community event can always use volunteers for numerous tasks. Please contact us if you would like to help.
