Wet Wonders of the World at Martin Griffin Preserve

Date:
Saturday, May 12, 2018 - 10:00am to 4:00pm
Event Description:

Newts, and damselfly larvae, and scuds, oh my! Come join us for our ever-popular Pond Day where we get up close and personal with the many critters who make our ponds home.  Join our volunteer Nature Guides in scooping up some goodies (avoid the muck and the duck weed!) and examining pond life with magnifying boxes and under microscopes.

Martin Griffin Preserve, across from the Bolinas Lagoon in Stinson Beach, is open every Saturday from 10am - 4pm, May through July. Enjoy hiking on our eight miles of trails, peeking at the lagoon birds through our scopes, picnicing under the redwoods, and more. We welcome our West Marin neighbors to come out and hike and enjoy this local 1000-acre treasure!
