White House Pool Trail Work Day

Date:
Sunday, November 17, 2013 - 9:00am to 12:00pm
Event Description:

Trail Workday at White House Pool

White House Pool, Pt. Reyes Station

Sunday

November 17, 2013

9am-12pm

Join staff from Marin County Parks to improve trail tread and prevent standing water on the trail during the winter months. There will also be opportunities to focus on habitat restoration and trail corridor maintenance pruning. Work will take place on flat and level terrain, but will be mildly strenuous and best suited for volunteers 10 years and up.

Know Before You Go

Park staff will provide materials, tools, gloves, training, refreshments, and snacks! Dress in layers you can get dirty: long pants, long-sleeve shirt, and sturdy shoes.  Bring water and sun protection. Friendly dogs are welcome, but must be leashed. RSVP's are appreciated but not required.

Meeting Place

Meet in the parking lot of White House Pool.
