Workshop - Fearless Fermentation

Event Description: 

In this hands-on workshop, Karen will demonstrate how to make sauerkraut and pickles, as well as cover all the technical aspects of lacto-fermentation, so that you will master the art and science of preserving vegetables with good bacteria. In addition, kombucha and water kefir will be covered so that you will also be familiar with healthy fermented beverages using a starter culture. Plus tastings of gourmet fermented items from Karen's own kitchen. There will be plenty of time to answer all of your fermentation questions.

Each participant will make their own sauerkraut with a selection of spices and herbs and take their fermentation creations home to enjoy.​
