A very rare evening with Brazilian musicians Amilton Godoy, Lea Freier and Harvey Wainapel!

Pianist Amilton Godoy and flutist Léa Freire join the saxophonist and clarinetist Harvey Wainapel for an intimate concert on the Inverness Ridge.  Godoy formed the renowned and influential Zimbo Trio, which has made 51 recordings and performed in over 40 countries. Léa Freire has worked with Hermeto Pascoal, Arismar do Espírito Santo, Yamandu Costa, Arrigo Barnabé and Leny de Andrade, among others.  Léa released her first CD, “Ninhal,” in 1997, on her newly-founded label Maritaca. Harvey Wainapel has played with jazz geniuses such as Ray Charles, Dave Brubeck, McCoy Tyner, Johnny Coles and Joe Henderson.
