Geography of Hope Seeks Local Volunteers

Participate actively and intimately in the 2013 Geography of Hope conference by volunteering in exchange for admission.

Volunteers will be part of a carefully planned working team. Various levels of volunteer participation are exchanged for admission to conference events; 3 hours for one panel, 5 hours for one day, and 15 hours for admission to the full conference. Volunteers committed to 15 hours of work trade at conference will be given top priority. Every effort will be made to schedule work times so that volunteers can attend the events of their choice.

To request an application that allows us to match conference needs with volunteer’s skills and interests, email me, Alex Porrata, Volunteer Coordinator at alexporrata@mac.com.

About Geography of Hope: The 2013 Geography of Hope Conference is the first West Coast gathering of the world's foremost Aldo Leopold experts and the only opportunity to meet and hear from the creators and stars of Green Fire, the 2012 Emmy Award-winning film about Aldo Leopold's life and conservation legacy which will be screened at the conference. Other activities include literary conversations, field trips to farms, wetlands and wilderness areas in the West Marin countryside and two farm-to-table dinners at Toby’s Feed Barn in downtown Point Reyes Station.
