Volunteers Needed! Point Reyes Birding and Nature Festival this April

Join the Environmental Action Committee of West Marin (EAC) as a volunteer for our annual spring fundraiser, the Point Reyes Birding and Nature Festival April 28th-30th. Shifts available for registration, night programs and more.

The festival takes place along the Pacific Flyway and at the height of spring migration in and around West Marin, where over 54% of all North American birds have been sighted and recorded.  Our bird hub will be headquartered at the Dance Palace Community and Cultural Center in Point Reyes Station, and features over 60 field events and indoor workshops led by top Bay Area bird guides and naturalists.

Participants will have the opportunity to view migrating seabirds, waterfowl, resident and migrant land birds.  In addition to the unique birding opportunities, there are stunning wildflower displays, butterflies, dragonflies, migrating whales, elephant seals, sea lions, and tule elk waiting to be discovered. In addition, we will host a Friday and Saturday evening programs with key note speakers, and Sunday youth programming.
