Volunteers needed for Reading Buddies, youth tutoring at the libarary
Reading Buddies is a one-on-one tutoring program for studnets K-5. We help students build literacy skills and develop a love of reading after school in a relaxed supportive environment.
Our volunters love to make learning fun. Reading Buddies work with student's outside-the-classroom to model reading aloud and give students a safe place to practice.
Whether you are a retired educator, student, or Marin resident looking to give back to your community, every Reading Buddy plays a role in our countywide initiative to promote educational equity and esure every student is reading proficiency by 3rd grade.
We are recruiting volunteers for the 2019-20120 school year at the Point Reyes Libarary.
