One Tam: Wildlife Picture Index Project

Come contribute to the Marin Wildlife Picture Index Project! This project depends on volunteer "Community Scientists" to help maintain wildlife cameras and process photos, and we are especially looking to train and retain volunteers for the long-term. At this training, we will be viewing and cataloging photos (on the computer) acquired from wildlife cameras in Marin. Newbies and experienced catalogers welcome, and snacks will be provided.  Ages 16 and up. Register today, as space is limited.

MMWD Trail Crew: Deer Park Loop

Help improve tread and drainage on the Yolanda and Six Points Trails. Minor brushing included.  Approximately 4 miles of hiking to keep you warm and limber! Meet at the Deer Park School lot in Fairfax. Mandatory safety talk starts promptly at 9am! RSVP required.

 

Ages 13 and up. Minors under the age of 16 must have a guardian present. Those ages 16-18 must have permission from a guardian.

As with all events, please bring a water bottle, closed toe shoes and clothes for variable weather. Bring your lunch. We will provide tools, breakfast snacks and water!
