Join Point Reyes National Seashore and Point Reyes National Seashore Association on Saturday, August 8th, from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm for a fun, family-friendly trail maintenance volunteer opportunity! We’ll be working alongside the National Park Service’s trail crew to build fencing and prevent erosion on the Estero Trail.

FUNKY APRIL! KWMR Spring Pledge Drive

KWMR – community radio for West Marin, is bustin’ a move this month! Our Spring Pledge Drive is strutting over the airwaves for 7 danceable days: April 22 – 28.

Our goal is to raise $50,000 of operating funds that support our three FM frequencies - 90.5 Point Reyes Station, 89.9 Bolinas, and 92.3 San Geronimo Valley. You’ll be hearing our 90+ volunteer radio hosts, our hard-working staff and even some enthusiastic community supporters on the air, asking you to chip in.

Please join KWMR in a collaborative event on Saturday, April 4th. The paintings of artists and West Marin resident Alexander Carl Bratenahl are hanigning in Toby's Gallery for the month of April, sponsored by KWMR and Toby's Gallery. The work is truly amazing and has not been viewed for many years. Much of it is for sale. The sale of paintings benefits KWMR in part. The opening will feature a dance and DJ Funkfest featuring KWMR's own Fairfax Funkateer in the barn. There will be refreshments for sale (empanadas and chocolate chip cookies while they last) and beer, wine and sodas.

Linda is a botanist, illustrator and educator and has a prolific portfolio of beautiful botanical drawings.
